Hello again, wow what a busy time it's been since coming back after new year, exams, assignments due in, paperwork to catch up with and lots of lovely orders to process and deliver thank you to all my fantastic customers.
We are in the middle of redecorating our living room at the moment (my husband would argue that is the royal "we" but I am offering lots of moral support!) so it's a case of colour charts and tester pots - or rather it was, until we turned a corner in the DIY shop and found the exact colour we wanted had been reduced from £22+ a tin, to £2.50 a tin!! Bargain!!
My knitting time has slacked a lot since we got back, so I really must get back into it soon, before I forget everything I learned.
Bye for now,
Amber

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and New Year.
I'm back after my two week holiday, visiting the in-laws, all refreshed and ready for this next year's challenges. I have a handsome new Nephew - Oliver Woody, and my spring plants are budding already!?!
I'd really like to start adding more Sealwood recipes onto the site, so if you have any recipes that you make/use using Sealwood produce please send them through to me and I will add them to the website. Any photos would also be welcome. Finally, if you have any suggestions of products you would like to see added to the site, please let me know, I will do my best to find anything you request.
Bye for now,

Well I hope you all liked the articles featuring Sealwood in the Daily Mail and the Derby Evening Telegraph. I felt a little bit famous for a week - and hopefully it will attract more business.
I'm currently preparing myself for the Christmas deliveries this week and hoping the temperature stays above freezing for as long as possible. I would love a white Christmas but not a moment sooner thank you - it makes delivering a little difficult! ;o)
The knitting is still going well - I find it very theraputic after a busy day to sit and lose myself in yarn and patterns. I made a lovely pair of slippers last week and have just started a waterfall waistcoat - my first real challenge! Wish me luck!
Merry christmas everyone, I hope you all have a fantastic time and all the best for the new year!

Phew! What a week. After the Toyota Christmas Fayre on Saturday, a good friend's baby shower on Sunday, knitting class on Monday along with my usual list of household and Sealwood jobs, I also managed to squeeze in a little trip down to Kent for a photoshoot with the Daily Mail - eek!
All shall be revealed soon - early indications are that it should be published on Thursday - I'll keep you posted though!
Knitting update: - Scarf complete, half way through a hat and just begun a dog coat for my Cocker Spaniel Holly! I'm addicted - it's official!
Bye for now

Just finished my last delivery of the week. Hope everyone is enjoying the produce.
It's been another busy week here at Sealwood, and the weekend is set to carry on the same way. Tomorrow is the Toyota Christmas Fayre at Burnaston (10am - 2pm). I'll be there with lots of fresh vegetables, eggs and some other bits and bobs from Sealwood so come on down and support local businesses. I'll also be taking orders for Christmas Turkeys.
Oh, and if anyone is interested... the knitting is still going really well - I'm onto my second ball of wool already!
Bye for now.

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog.
Well, this is my very first ever blog so please bear with me - I'll try not to waffle too much but I can't promise anything.
Today has been a very busy, very productive day both business wise and personally.
I had a new member training session with my networking group (Women in Business Network - WIBN) which gave me lots of ideas for Sealwood - including starting a blog. I always come away from WIBN meetings full of inspiration and new ideas.
After the training session finished, I popped into my local yarn and craft studio - Tangent Treasures in Willington, for my first ever knitting lesson. I'm already addicted and have a million things I'd now like to knit. Who knows, maybe if I prove to be half decent at it, I could sell a few knitted items on here!?!
Although one step at a time - lets see how this scarf goes first.....
Bye for now, Amber.
